About the Business
Selling leisure and household goods, by 1961 S&U Plc, trading as loansathome4u, had grown nationwide and had gained its present listing on the London Stock Exchange. In 1975 we added cash loans to our well established hire purchase and household goods offers. In 1999, we launched Advantage Finance to provide customers with access to finance for their own cars.
Everything we do is geared towards our personal relationship with each of our 120,000 customers. Many have had credit difficulties in the past and our close 'relationship lending' and weekly home visits, smooth the way to happy customers and lifelong loyalty.
Wherever possible we aim to resolve matters as soon as you tell us about them. We will do this by either talking to you or by writing to you. However, depending on the nature of the issue we may not be able to resolve it as quickly as we would want to. If this is the case, we will send you a letter to acknowledge your complaint.
